Standard BMW factory paint for Series /6 motorcycles was the Glasurit brand, available in 1975 in the eight colors above, including the Silver Smoke two-tone fade available only on the flagship R90S model. A Daytona Orange (orange-silver) fade was later added to the lineup. Pinstripe colors varied, including gold, black, Bavarian blue, and classic white.
