Argeo Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured by Georg Kulitzky, S 42, Luckauer Strasse 16, Berlin. 1925-1929. [1]

Argeo was a small motorcycle factory in Berlin during the twenties which produced simple machines with two-stroke engines of their own manufacture in 198cc and 246cc capacities.

In 1926 at the German Motor Show in Berlin the firm presented a motor tricycle called "Volkswagen". Two different dreirad models were built, one of 198cc for the tax-free market, and the other was of 348cc. These were available until 1929.

Notes. 1. Tragatsch gives dates of manufacture as 1924-1927.
