Claude Fior was an endurance racer who gained laurels in the 1970s at the Le Mans and Barcelona 24 Hour races. Fior forks have graced the machines from the upper exhelons of the sport, including the Britten and BMW's K 1200 S (the forks were known as Hossack, but these were copied from Fior)[1].
Concept motorcycles which have emerged from the Boxer design studio include the Aprilia Blue Marlin, Voxan UB1, B2 and Scrambler, and the Mondial Nuda.

The Boxer SSR is based on the Voxan V-Twin and is delivered with full fairing and naked bike components enabling the owner to have either version at will. The Aprilia Rotax V60 RSV1000 R engine was also considered for this project.
Fior was also a serious aviator - he built his own glider, a tow-plane to launch it into the skies above his hometown of Nogaro, and an aircraft powered by a Norton Rotary for an attempt on the world altitude record for aircraft under 1000kg.
