Buschcamp Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufacturer: Carl Buschcamp
1930-1954

Founded in Bielfield in 1930 by Carl Buschkamp who had previously had interests in Dusseldorf, the Buschkamp motorcycles were fitted with JLO engines of 98cc to 118cc and produced Volksmotorrad as well as more sophisticated machines until 1939. At war's end they resumed production, initially with machines similar to the pre-war models and finally, in 1953, machines with Sachs engines, after which manufacturing ceased that same year.
