Carda Micromotors

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured 1946-1947 by Daniele Carnelutti, Via Siepelunga 47 (uffci), Via Giovanni Livraghi 1, Via Galliera 63, Bologna

This auxilliary engine was a 43cc two-stroke mounted beside the rear wheel of a bicycle with direct chain drive from the crankshaft to a sprocket bolted to the hub.

There is some question about the dates of manufacture, with one source giving a much later date of closure (1954).
