Disa Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Disa production began in 1948 and ended around 1955

The Dansk Industri Syndikat A / S in Copenhagen factory produced 125cc and 150cc motorcycles with their own engines designed by Jørgen Skafte-Rasmussen of DKW and MZ fame. Rasmussen and his brother returned to Denmark after the war and set up the Disa motorcycle project, and others.

The Disa V 100 was a lightweight motorcycle fitted with a Villiers MK1 F 98cc engine. This was produced from 1950 until about 1955.

Examples of the DISA 100cc and 150cc models are on display at the Danmarks Motorcykel Museum
