MCB Mopeds

A Brief History of the Marque
MCB are the initials of Monark Crescent AB which was established after the acquisition of Nymans by Monark in 1964. Nymans has previously had a relationship with Husqvarna.

MCB models - Crescent models produced between 1964-80. These mopeds where also produced as Monark, and a few were marketed under the Husqvarna and Maraton labels.

Crescent began in 1897 as American Cycle Imports and this company was acquired by Nyman in 1931. In the 50s they produced mopeds (and possibly motorcycles) under the NW and NV banners, but by 1957 all machines were marketed under the Crescent badge.
