Cunningham's of Clitheroe

The LM Cyclecar was produced from 1910 to 1922.

The company was founded by William Cunningham, who built his first car in 1905 and at least one other in 1907.

Built at the L.M. Works in Clitheroe and powered by an 8 h.p. JAP V-twin, the 5cwt 4-wheeled machine was presented at the 1912 Olympia Show.

Following the armistice the LM reappeared with new owners, the Little Midland Light Car Co Ltd of Duke Street, Blackburn. The following year they moved to Preston, and produced two-seaters powered by a water-cooled 980cc JAP.
