Metropolitan

Metropolitan was a motorcycle designed in 1928.

It is not certain that any machines were actually constructed, but an advance specification notice had been issued during 1928.

The design detailed a lightweight machine fitted with a 172cc Villiers two-stroke engine, Auto-Lube lubrication system, and an Albion three-speed gearbox and clutch. The Brampton frame set had Brampton Biflex forks and a black-enamelled fuel tank with blue side panels. Other standard equipment included: internal expanding brakes; all-chain drive; semi-TT handlebars, and Villiers direct lighting.
