Payne and Bates of Coventry
  • Maker of cars from 1900.
Godiva were motorcycles produced circa 1900 by Payne and Bates of Coventry.

The company had already been producing cars under their own name and also as the Stonebow.

They also produced a few primitive motorcycles fitted with an aiv engine and with either two or four wheels. The make did not last long.
