First shown at the Milan Show in 1989, the CX was only produced in 1991 but was sold until the factory's closure in 1993. Approximately 1000 were built. Designed by Luciano Marabese the standout feature was the single-sided front suspension. In addition the single-sided swing arm and aerodynamic (the CX referred to the coefficient of drag) bodywork also added to the futuristic look of the bike. The 125cc 2-stroke made about 30hp and propelled the CX to a top speed of about 170kph. Photographed in Haigslea, Qld. 2011. Australian Motorcycle Museum.
