Batavus Regency Mopeds

The Batavus Regency has a two speed two-stroke Laura M-56 engine. It was manufactured from 1978 to 1980 (maybe longer).

Early versions had plastic mag wheels while the later ones had the traditional wire spoke wheels with steel rims.

Adverts for this moped boast 150 miles per gallon fuel economy, and wide-profile Vredestein/Michelin tires. The mopeds were available in grey, black and classic tan with pin-strip accents.
