A Brief History of the Marque
Between 1955 and 1960 this small Italian factory built unit-construction OHV singles of 65cc to 80cc fitted to a modern motorcycle chassis. Some models were of pre-unit design, and there was also a 65cc scooter.
In the United States Cosmopolitan Motors marketed a 70cc model as the "MDS Super Dart" in 1962.

Would love to see more pictures of the MDS motorcycle. I had one back in 1962 when I was 13 years old. This is the first picture I have seen of an MDS since.
Italian fourstroke, MDS on rhs engine case, logo with 3 horses on tank.
I did find some information on the MDS 70. Its called a Super Dart, 4 stroke single, 5 hp at 6500 rpm, top speed 53 mph (yeah right), 196 mpg, $289 at Cosmopolitan motors in 1962.
