Norcroft Motorcycles

Norcroft motorcycles were produced in 1998, in Hove, Sussex.

At the Classic Bike show in April 1998, the firm launched its V-twin RE Interceptor Series V. It was hand built to customer specification with an engine based on the use of two Royal Enfield 500cc Bullet top ends mounted onto a common crankcase. The engines were imported from India, where that model was still being produced.

Carburation was by two 30mm Mikunis, fired by electronic ignition and it also had electric start. The machines were equipped with a four-speed Enfield gearbox and the engine was housed in Metisse rolling chassis.

Production models bore a resemblance to both the Vincent V-twin and cafe racers of the 60's and 70s. It was a very handsome machine, but difficulties arose and it does not appear to have progressed.
