Gainsborough Motorcycles

C. E. Hammond of Ipswich, Suffolk produced motorcycles from 1903 to 1906.

Having built pedal cycles from the turn of the century, Hammond turned to the production of motorcycles. Typically primitive, the strengthened bicycle frames were fitted with proprietary engines.
