Gainsborough Motorcycles

C. E. Hammond of Ipswich, Suffolk produced motorcycles from 1903 to 1906 .

Having built pedal cycles from the turn of the century, Hammond turned to the production of motorcycles. Typically primitive, the strengthened bicycle frames were fitted with proprietary engines.
