Four and a half years later …………………. your machine is a 1966 T120. All T120's for 1966 were within the following serial number range DU24875 – DU44393.
Sorry for the late reply, haven't been on this site for ages. You have probably sold the bike by now?

Two and a half years later…………………… Did you ever find out of the number you printed? Personally I think it's a casting number, and does not relate to any Triumph engine number.

Hi, your T120 was made approximately in april of 1966. Mine is a 1966 T120 DU399.. delivered to Pride and Clark in London in May of the same year.
All the early UK T120’s omitted the “R” letter. The T120R (road) was destined for the US market and differed mainly with high rise handlebars and a variation of exhaust pipes, depending on east and west coast specifications.
As regards spares, see you’ve had a few replies but can recommend Grin in Scotland, he’s been my main source since I started a rebuild in 2003. 30 odd years in the business, dedicated to Meriden machines, (and some Harris Bonnevilles). You can see his catalogue or reach him at:
