The Crystal Palace Motor Show was held from 30th January to the 7th of February, 1903. At the same venue the National Cycle and Motor Show was held in November, with some fifty motorcycle brands displayed. The Crystal Palace was three times the size of St Paul's Cathedral.

By lap 17 only Len Sowerby and Sid Moses were left on the course. On lap 24 Len's machine suffered mechanical failure leaving Sid to finish the race alone.

Staintune announces closure. After some 50 years producing Australia's highest quality exhaust stainless systems, the owner announced that the company would close and assets auctioned. Shortly afterwards a buyer was found and the business was re-established in Beresfield NSW.
