On this day Les Archer Jr was born in his grandfather's garage in Farnham, Surrey. Les competed in ISDT, road racing and scrambles in Algiers, France, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Sweden and the UK, including the IOM TT.
Janet Lee jumps over 34 motorcycles in Anthony, New Mexico. Known as "The Flying Angel", Janet began her stunt career in Texas after watching the "Deathriders" perform in the summer of 1973.
