Charles Fehn of San Bernardino, California applied for his first patent for his Trail-Breaker two-wheel-drive motorcycle. It entered production in 1966 as the Rokon.

Sensation in plenty was provided by the Tom Davis Trio, the new headliners at the popular Grote street vaudeville house on Saturday night. The audience sat astounded while the trio tore round a circular wooden track at the rate of 60 miles an hour on their light motor bicycles.
