The Paris-Bordeaux-Paris was the first automobile race ever held, and had a class for motorcycles.
There were six or more entrants for the class, only two of which started: Georges Osmont on a Duncan & Suberbie, and Félix Millet on a 5-cylinder Millet. Neither finished.
N.B. There was an earlier race in which the winner also took last place. He was the only starter.

Harold Willis died.
Willis was the main force behind the supercharged Velocette Roarer, which completed just one practice lap of the TT with Stanley Woods at the helm. It was withdrawn from the Senior TT as Willis had entered hospital with meningitis, and died two days after the day it lapped the IOM course.
