Auto-Sidecar
Arthur Grady was the first person to circumnavigate Australia on land. He departed Fremantle on his Douglas motorcycle on October 1st 1924, and arrived back in Fremantle on the 14th of March 1925. The distance covered was around 9000 miles (NY to San Francisco times three), no paved roads and in many areas no roads at all.
