    Hi everyone :)

    I own a Benelli Hurricane 8)

The other day it stopped for no apparent reason. There turned out to be no spark. The coil tested fine, the plug was replaced, the condensor was checked, the wiring all tested ok. Still no spark.

I don’t have a wiring diagram, but it looks so simple, how hard could it be to fix?

After 5 days of mucking around and getting nowhere, I found a little story on the net about how Benelli wired the rear tail light bulb into the ignition circuit. I checked the bulb and sure enough it was blown.

I replaced it with another 6v I had spare and away went the bike, for about 40m up the road until that bulb blew

Does anyone know what is going on? or what the correct bulb is for the rear light? It is a dual filament/wattage bulb.

    Cheers,

    Kerry.
