Hi I have just finished restoring a 1970's DKW 125 radial head, electronic ignition, leading link forks enduro and now have it for sale. It still has its California plate on and was last on the road in the USA in the 1970's.PLEASE NOTE THE BIKE IS NOW IN LEEDS, ENGLAND!!!!!
I have done a full nut and bolt restoration including all the original parts chroming (Vernon Moss) right down to the original light switch and kick start! All frame parts powder coated (Tripple s), new rims, tapes, tubes and tyres, brakes, bearings, stainless screws, tank flowlined, new battery, loom refurbished, tank/ side panel painting, new cables (correct grey ones with oiling fittings), new seat cover made from the original, complete engine rebuild (piston, bearings, seals etc), carb rebuilt the list goes on and on……
I have used the best services and original parts on this restoration so I have spent £'s on the bike and it looks superb!
Please drop me a line for lots more pictures and to have a chat about viewing. Like I said no expense spared on this bike and hence I'm looking for offers close to £1995 plus the bike will have to be collected from me in Leeds, England.
I may be interested in p/x for a good usable enduro to the value of approx £800 plus the cash.
