Hi all! So here’s a short history of how I came to have this bike. My uncle was a priest in Gary, IN. He loved restoring old motorcycles. His favorites were NSUs and BMWs (he restored an NSU Max which is in a museum now I believe). I grew up around him and his bikes. Sadly he died of cancer a few years ago. After this his collection was split up. I inherited his 1964 BMW R69S. Recently, one of his former parishes called and said they found an old motorcycle in the basement. Supposedly it was “a frame and some wheels.” It was much more than that. I dragged this bike up 2 flights of stairs, as well as a box full of parts.

So, please help me ID the bike, and any advice to what I should do with it is welcome too!
