I need help from someone who knows their wiring!

I have a Max 250 from 1954. When i bought it many years ago it was equipped with a non-standard regulator mounted on the frame. Now I have bought and tried to install an electronic regulator, but the wiring instructions only referred to the standard Max wiring. Now I can`t get the charging light to go out, which presumably means that the regulator isn`t properly connected (see photo).

In all the Max manuals I have, there is no wiring diagram for the dynamo and regulator (inside the engine), only diagrams for wiring the rest of the bike. Can anyone help me on this one?
