I have in the barn a 1961 Zundapp Super Sabre, 250cc 2 cycle electric start, 5700 original miles. blue fenders, rims rusty. it starts and runs. Do you have a ballpark figure of value or can you put me in contact with someone that could help me? Want to sell! — Thank you — betme15 at frontiernet.net

    Hi

Need a muffler for my bike as I am sure so many other people do. Any idea if there are any decent repos out there? Thanks. — Brian — bbkent at mpinet.net

I have a 1958 Super Saber complete (except taillight) and in ‘nicely patina’d’ condition. I want $1200 or best offer for it. It’s in San Francisco — Matt Hamilton May 7, 2002 — Sold

It looks as if I’m not the only one searching for parts. I have two Super Sabres,’58 and ’60. I need a non-bobbed rear fender, a complete headlamp w/harness with mounts and a gear shift lever to get the ’58 going.

For those of you looking for parts books and owners manuals, I found both from Domi racer in Ohio, but they didn’t have much more.

I have a spare frame (250 Super Sabre).

I also have dozens of small parts and gaskets which I purchased from a son-in-law of a Zundap Enthusiest (R.I.P). Maybe I might be able to help someone get their bike off the dining room table and back on the road where they belong. — Steve Henry — sidecarsteve at hotmail.com

I was cleaning out our garage and I discovered 4 Zundapps in really good condition. 2 of them have the original german tires, tanks, and look really good. They are blue in color and are years 1959, 1961. The other two are 1959 and ???? the 1959 is black all over the other is black with a silver tank… the one in question has a silver tank with original tires, side bags and has “INTRNATIONAL 6 DAY TROPHY” emblem on the gas tank. I dont know what they are worth but all are 90-95% complete from wheel to wheel including engines, carbs, seats, side covers, and 3 of them have the original german tires…

Help or pass the word.. I could part them out???
