Harso Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufacturer: Biebrich am Rhein. 1924-1927

Prior to 1924 the company had been active producing equipment for the Swiss railways. In 1924 they began building motorcycles which included one powered by their own engine, Sturmey-Archer three speed gearbox, Brown & Barlow carburettor, and Komet front brake. It was belt-driven and the frame was also of their own manufacture. One source states that they used JAP 300cc engines.

After 1930, they built only sidecars.
