Maratuech Aerocar

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured: Early 1920s

In 1922, Fernand Maratuech developed an unusual three-wheeler described as "an aeroplane without wings" powered by a BSA 250cc engine.

Maratuech, a cyclist and a musician, was the creator of numerous devices - tractors, boats and, in 1940, an electric bicycle.

One of these machines has been recently restored by a prominent member of l'Automobile Club du Sud-Ouest.
