Wakefield Motorcycles

Wakefield was a motorcycle produced in 1902 at York Terrace, Clapham.

This was a primitive machine that had a 2hp Minerva or MMC engine fitted to a heavy-duty bicycle frame, and with direct-belt drive to the rear wheel. The maker probably went back to dealing with bicycles only.
