C. E. Hammond

Gainsborough were motorcycles produced from 1903 to 1906 by C. E. Hammond of Ipswich, Suffolk.

Having built pedal cycles from the turn of the century, Hammond turned to the production of motorcycles. Typically primitive, the strengthened bicycle frames were fitted with proprietary engines.
