Mailhammer Sidecars

Manufactured by Mailhammer Motorräder Ortenburg (MMO), sidecars were produced from 1980 to 1994. After a pause, production was resumed in 1988 by Gerhard Wolf of Hohenwarth.

Mailhammer was a Moto Guzzi dealer, and had produced leading-link forks for Guzzis since 1981. Using the EML-Mini frame they developed a sports sidecar with hydraulic disc brake activated by the the Guzzi integral braking system available on some of the touring twins of the era. The outfit had a claimed top speed of 100 mph.
