Manufactured by Motorrad Wilhelm, Molberg 28, Höchstädt, Immenstadt, from 1992 to c.2000.
The company registered their sidecar combinations as an automobile, but this designation was later withdrawn by the TÜV.
The Motowig was produced in both enduro and road versions, both based on BMW K models. A Goldwing version was also available.
The chassis had a single-sided swing arm at the front end and a Paralever rear swing-arm. They later developed a Telelever front suspension.
