Troika Sidecars

Manufactured by Gespannbau Heidenwag. Originally named Heidenwag + Krautter, in 2000 Susanne Heidenwag with Heinrich Heidenwag ran the company.

From 1978 to c.2002 they built a variety of sidecar combinations under the name Troika.

Using components manufactured by EML, the sidecars were available only as complete, finished outfits. Earlier models included the Troika SR 80/100 based on the aircooled boxer, with coupled sidecar and front wheel brakes. Later machines used BMW R 1200 C twins.

"Gespannbau Heidenwag is a motorcycle workshop based in Schornbach (Baden-Württemberg) ... only offers conversions for the BMW R 1200 C-Cruiser model. Your delivered vehicle will be equipped with a cruiser sidecar. If necessary, Gespannbau Heidenwag will also take care of acquiring a BMW R 1200 C Cruiser motorcycle. The construction of complete trailers has been discontinued." March 2019
