This is an original photo, not a reprint, and as such is more recent than the others. I suspect the Douglas shown here was already pretty old when the picture was taken - I'd guesstimate the 1950s, and the bike is obviously much older.
This is one of the Australian photos, or so I assume from the 'N.S.W." on the number plate and the exotic-looking plant half hidden behind the rider. Do any of my Australian visitors recognise the man or the bike?
