British Motorcycles

Colonial

Colonial was a motorcycle produced between 1911 and 1913.

The engine was own-produced and was a two-stroke of about 450cc. As it was considerably larger that the usual 3.5hp four-stroke engine that customers preferred at the time, this cannot have helped sales. The rest of the machine would have been very similar to others available and made with bought-in parts.
