Kayser Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured by Gebrüder Kayser AG of Kaiserslautern, 1899-1903
Established in 1864, the sewing machine and bicycle factory built their first motor-tricycle in 1899. By 1902 they had developed a four-wheel version, the Primus. Production of motor vehicles ceased in 1903.
One of their tricycles is in the collection of Motorradmuseum Schloss Augustusburg.
In 1931 Kayser merged with Gritzner of Durlach to form Gritzner-Kayser.
