A Brief History of the Marque
Tempo three-wheeled delivery vehicles were built by Vidal & Söhne Tempo-Werk GmbH of Hamburg (Max and Oscar Vidal, father and son), established 1926.
Three wheeler models included Tempo T1 & T2 (1928-1930), T6 (1929-35), T10 (1930-36), Pony (1932-36), Tempo Front 6, 10, 7 & 14, Tempo E 200 & 400, Tempo A 200 & 400. Over 24,000 of the A400 model were produced between 1938-1943. The Tempo A400 was also built under licence by Standard.
After WWII they made vans. The firm was absorbed by Daimler-Benz in 1970.
