Ceccato was most famous for their fantastic race bikes in the 1950's but they also made a line of quality street machines. Here is a chance to buy one of there very rare street bikes seldom seen in the USA. This example was part of a 20 year private collection of Italian bikes here in the L.A. area untill it was purchased 2 years ago. Being privately imported from Italy this bike has a Roma license plate and even it's Italian registration card from 1970.
This is a great running and riding bike with lots of character and patina. Still with its orignal paint from the 1950's this bike is very correct and a candidate for a easy cosmetic restoration. Both wheels have been redone with new rims, spokes and polished hubs. The handle bars, controls and throttle have been replaced with hard to find NOS parts. As MHS likes to say " the hard part has already been done ".
