Maserati 1957 125GTS Replica, Front RHS
Part of the large industrial concern that included the famous car company, Maserati motorcycle production started in 1953 with the take over of the Bologna based Italmoto company. A range of both 2 & 4-stroke bikes with capacities from 48cc up to 250cc were produced until manufacture ceased in 1960. This example is a replica of the 1957 125GT/Super built for privateer use in the 125 F3 class of the Moto Giro. The GTS was made from 1957 to 1959. 7.2hp at 6,000rpm. Weight 86kg.
