The 1981 version of the Morbidelli 500 square four. After much success with smaller capacity bikes, including 5 x 125cc and 1 x 250cc world Championships, Morbidelli developed 350 and 500 4 cylinder machines. Unfortunately limited budgets (Mr Morbidelli said the team consisted of four people, if he was there) resulted in many DNFs for rider Graziano Rossi (Valentino's father) on the 500. 130hp at 11,000rpm.
