A Brief History of the Marque

Manufacturer: Carl Metzger Motorradbau, Munich

1921-1923*

These machines were assembled in small quantities using two-stroke engines of 110cc obtained from Munich-based Fritz Cockerell. It was an extremely difficult period for the German motorcycle industry due to the advent of hyperinflation.

An image titled "Damenrad ähnlicher Spezialrahmen mit 1 PS DKW 2 Takt-Motor" has been displayed at motor-hist-foto.de.
