Anelli Mopeds

A Brief History of the Italian Marque

Carlo Anelli had a store in Pavia which sold bicycles and accessories.

After his death, his son Abelardo expanded the business offering spare parts for Ganna motorcycles and light motorcycles.

In 1947 the workshop of Abelardo Anelli produced its first mopeds with Mosquito engines. They are equipped with a sturdy tubular frame with a teardrop fuel tank anchored to the upper beam and front suspension produced by Casalini di Piacenza.

After the era of the Mosquito the Anelli company returned to bicycles. The firm closed in 1964.
