A Milan company which from 1946 or '47 to c.1954 built two-stroke Gazzella auxiliary engines of 60cc, and 65cc motorcycles with a two-speed gearbox.
A restorer notes that the Gazzella 65cc engine bears a striking similarity to the Parilla 125 2T designed by Alfredo Bianchi in 1948-49, stating that the cylinder inclination of 5° along with the shape of the sandcast crankcase bore witness to this, and that the gearbox and preselector system were identical. He concludes that Boassi bought the design from Bianchi.
