Apollo Motorcyklar 1951 Advert
Manufactured by M. Berlin & Co., AB, Värnamo, 1937-1962
Pre-war models used Husqvarna engines, and after the war they also used Zundapp and JLO of 98cc to 198cc, along with a number of Levis 98cc engines from Hepburn Engineering. Postwar they built the Monte Carlo, Bel Rock, Bladet and TfA mopeds, among others.
The company also built machines under the Rondo Lyx brand. The Rondo was marketed by Konsum-Kooperativa.
Around 1960 the company became part of the Volvo group under MCB and it is believed that Apollo moped construction continued until the mid-1960s.
Apollo Apell
Engine: Zündapp 50cc 2-stroke engine, producing 0.8bhp. Compression ratio: 1:6.5. Bing 1/9/9 carburettor with automatic choke. Flywheel magneto.
Transmission: 2-speed, dry clutch. Chain drive to rear wheel.
Suspension: Botttom link type sprung front fork. Swinging arm suspension for rear wheel with telescopic sping units.
Frame: Apollo's special 'helicopter frame'.
Tyres: 24"×2"
Features: Top speed restricted to 30 km/h (to conform to Swedish moped regulations).

Apollo Pacific
Engine: Zündapp 2-stroke engine with hard-chrome plated cylinder barrel, decompressor for easier starting. Cylinder capacity: 50cc, power: 0,8bhp, compression ratio 1:6.5. Bing carburettor with intake silencer. Flywheel magneto.
Transmission: Centrifugal clutch, single speed, driving rear wheel by kilrep.
Suspension: Bottom link type sprung front fork, rigid rear.
Tyres: 24"×2"
Frame: Central beam type frame.
Features: 30km/h top speed conforming to Swedish moped regulations 12% hill climbing ability. Tank capacity of 5.5 litres.

Apollo Bel Rock
Engine Zündapp moped engine, cylinder capacity 50cc, output 0.8bhp, compression ratio 1:6.5, 2-stroke. Bing carburettor with intake silencer, air filter and automatic choke. Kickstart.
Transmission: Dry clutch, drive to rear wheel via ½"×3/16" chain.
Suspension: Spring front fork of bottom-link type. Frame and bodywork: Apollo's 'helikopter' central beam type frame enclosed with pressed steel body work incorporating an air duct to maintain engine cooling.
Tyres: 24"×2½" rear, 14"×3" front.
Features: 30km/h top speed conforming to Swedish moped regulations 12% hill climbing ability. Tank capacity of 5 litres.
