A Brief History of the Marque
Karl Jurisch of Leipzig, a racer/designer of the 1920s.
Built a four-cylinder water-cooled twostroke prototype, and a water cooled 248cc twin-cylinder supercharged racing machine which gained much recognition.
Jurisch was quite successful on the racing circuit, and also campaigned on Puch, Bekamo, DKW and other motorcycles.
Post-war he created a new firm in Altdorf, Karl Jurisch Fahrwerkbau, which built a small number of tri-cars named Motoplan. See Jurisch Microcars
N.B. There was a Jurisch microcar in the 1950s, also German but unrelated. See Carl Jurisch Microcars.
