Silk 700S 1977

Twostroke parallel twin, 47 bhp, 177 km/h.

In the early 1970s George Silk, formerly of Scott, developed a roadster based on the famous British watercooled two-strokes. With frames by Spondon, these light and agile machines were an expensive motorcycle which sold in small numbers.

Photographed at the Motorcycle Museum, Haigslea, Queensland
