S. B. Haskard and Sons

Haskard were motorcycles produced by S. B. Haskard and Sons of 10 & 12 Curzon Street, Derby, from 1903 to 1907.

The company was a small-scale manufacturer of motorcycles and tricars.

N.B. Aubrey Langton claimed to have driven some 800 to 1,000 miles on a 1½hp Ormonde motor bicycle and a 6hp belt-driven Benz prior to 1900 in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire using vehicles owned by "F.N. (or F.W.) Haskard" of Derby. It is very likely that this is the same Haskard family.

My grandparents Thomas and Nellie Haskard of Derby where my gt grandfather Samuel Burton Haskard had a small manufactory in Curzon St. Any info available, please?
