Ero Sidecars

A Brief History of the Marque

Ero Beiwagenfabrik was founded 1934 in Oberursel by Eduard Rottke. It was later taken over by a woman named Anna Trauth.

They produced an attractive sidecar which featured an automotive-style grill.

In 1935 Kali of Frankfurt re-located to Oberursel and apparently acquired controlling interests in Ero, incorporating their workshop and using it to build a new line of trailers designed for automobiles. Kali sidecars were also sold with Ero lettering.

Notes: Ero Mfg produced Rogers sidecars in the United States ca 1917.
