Tritomobil Dreirad

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured by Levering of Hamburg 1924-1926 and Leipzig 1927-1930.

The Tritomobil was a three-wheeled transporter with two wheels at the front which were driven by a DKW engine mounted behind the left front wheel. Engines employed included both air- and water-cooled versions with belt or chain drive. Payloads varied from 100kg to 600kg.

The dreirad was marketed by Bruno v. Festenberg-Pakisch, who also distributed a wide range of motorcycle parts and accessories.
