A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured 1923-1924

Luftreederei Max Schüler (LMS), Osnabrück Netterheide

In 1923 the firm used its expertise as a builder of airships to construct motorcycles. These had the appearance of a Zeppelin and were named the Tropfen-Motorrad. Few were made.

One source says they were powered by 142cc DKW engines, another states that they constructed motorcycles powered by their own 348cc and 308cc two-stroke engines.

Company advertising of the day offers three types: L 2½ P.S. - M 4½ P.S. - S 6½ P.S.
